In congruence with the 40th anniversary of the Apollo moon landing, The Discovery Channel re-aired an episode of “Mythbusters” that tackled the infamous adventure in an endeavor to reveal whether or not the entire ordeal had been a hoax.
The two hosts, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, attempted to either scientifically prove or disprove the events that took place, such as the flag blowing as if it were in wind, and the shadows being cast in unparalleled directions.

In short, the two hosts decided that it was NOT in fact a hoax. They proved everything that occurred that day with real tests, although, as stated in an interview with Savage and Hyneman, physics could have easily proved all of it. Sorry all you conspiracy theorists!
