I have been absolutely DYING to begin watching True Blood, an HBO television series about vampires and how they are coping living in the real-world alongside humans. The show focuses on one girl, Sookie Stackhouse, who has the ability to read minds. The series veers however, from the popularized vampire bit. Instead of the plot-line focusing on a forbidden love, it is smack-filled with sex and violence and anything of the sort which really makes it stand out.

Subsequently, I am watching two other shows: Bleach, an anime series (I know, anime SHUSH, it’s actually really good), and Smallville, and so I do not really want to get ahead of myself with True Blood until I have finished these two. BUT i’M SO EXCITED.
